Professional Development Training - Train The Trainer
In-House Training
Con-nections has been training ex-offenders since 1996. Our curriculum, developed by ex-offenders, and based on strategies outlined in our Job Search Survival Guide, has proven effective in addressing offender barriers. Con-nections is an intensive training provider, currently under contract by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, has consulted for state probation and parole, and has contracted with Workforce Development offices / Department of Labor.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
Provide accurate, informative job search advice and counsel to diffcult to place offenders seeking employment.
Help offenders implement job search strategies that reduce barriers.
Develop action plans for implementing effective training programs within their organizations.
